Ну не стоит у тебя iconv'a...
cd /usr/ports/audio/xmms
make install clean
и будет тебе счастье...
Или поставь пакейджем.

ЗЫ: Кстати я тут собрал для xmms
- libfade.so
- crystality.so
всем советую, особенно второе :)
